The Six Foot Platform

2021-2023

As outdoor attractions grew in popularity in the wake of the pandemic, Dumbo’s iconic Washington Street view became filled with visitors from all over the world. In response to this, The Six Foot Platform was concieved as a way to give local artists a global platform on Brooklyn’s most selfie-filled street. Each Saturday, an artist pops up on the platform with an afternoon of art, performance and beyond.
In 2021 I assisted with conceptualization and branding for the platform. From 2021-2022 I was the main day-of coordinator, assisting artists with their set-up and needs throughout the afternoon. From 2021-2023 I served on the artist selection committee, documented each week’s piece, and created messaging and public-facing assets.
The Six Foot Platform is presented by The Dumbo Improvement District in collaboration with The Brooklyn Arts Council.

Assisted in coordination of numerous public events including Shop the Studios, Dumbo Open Studios, and First Thursday Gallery Walks.

Elements Music & Arts Festival

2016-2020

Managed design and buildout of various installations, activations and themed spaces for Elements events. Collaborated with art director and created hand-painted signage for Elements Festival.
